Heather Castellano is the owner operator of Hearing Centers of Nevada.
She has 22 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has spent 12 years working with the geriatric population with an emphasis in dementia care and prevention and education.
Heather Castellano, is a Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and Tinnitus Care Provider, holding a certificate from the IHS. She brings 22 years of healthcare experience to her role as owner-operator of Hearing Centers of Nevada. With a focus on geriatric care and dementia prevention, Heather expanded the practice’s services to include community care protocols for 17 long-term care facilities in the Las Vegas Valley. She leads a team that serves various demographics, including Veterans and Department of Labor claimants, while also spearheading philanthropic initiatives within the community. She is a Starkey CEO Circle member, and 5 time Best of Las Vegas recipient. When she is not working, Heather spends time with her amazing family. She enjoys volunteering her time to help those in need and is currently taking classes to begin a non-profit agency geared toward helping those with hearing loss and limited means obtain prescriptive amplification devices.

Elizabeth Zhelev, NBC-HIS
Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist
Elizabeth is a Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 14 years of experience. She made a career change in 2011, drawn by her family’s legacy in the hearing profession. Prior to this, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNLV and worked in cancer research. Elizabeth, a Las Vegas native, is also a devoted mother and wife.
Emily Jensen Au.D.
Audiologist
In April 2022, Dr. Jensen became a member of the team at Hearing Centers of Nevada. With experience in audiology private practice and ear, nose, and throat settings, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Dr. Jensen’s expertise lies in addressing hearing and balance disorders in both pediatric and adult patients. She is skilled in fitting hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing aids, and cochlear implants for individuals of all ages. Dr. Jensen is eager to assist you in achieving your hearing goals!
Elana Walker, Au.D.
Audiologist
Dr. Elana Walker is a seasoned clinical audiologist with over 20 years of experience across diverse settings, including private practice, corporate environments, educational institutions, ENT clinics, and the VA. Throughout her career, she has held specialized roles such as tinnitus specialist, lead audiologist for hearing conservation, and clinical preceptor.
Dr. Walker earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado, her graduate degree from Portland State University, and her doctorate from Salus University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Walker is an avid outdoor enthusiast. Among her many adventures, summiting Mt. Whitney remains her greatest hiking achievement. She also enjoys playing Scrabble, chess, and pickleball, as well as exploring nature whenever possible.
Kathryn Munda, HIS Apprentice

Kathryn Munda, a Hearing Instrument Specialist Apprentice, and our Front Office Administrator, adds a fresh and youthful perspective to the team. She is known for her creativity and outgoing nature. As she embarks on her apprenticeship journey, Kathryn looks forward to contributing to the business and assisting clients with her warm demeanor. When Kathryn is not working and studying, she enjoys music, great food, and spending time with her adorable cat Dottie.
Torrie Denton
Patient Care Coordinator
As a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator, Torrie brings a unique combination of organizational expertise, compassionate care, and a love for connecting with people. With years of experience in healthcare administration, Torrie strives to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care, while facilitating smooth and efficient processes throughout their healthcare journey.
Beyond her professional expertise, Torrie is a proud mother of four children, two of whom are almost finished with their college education and one still navigating high school. As a retired Air Force spouse, Torrie has gained invaluable experiences living in Italy and traveling extensively across Europe, broadening her cultural understanding and appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Torrie is passionate about creating meaningful connections with people, whether they are patients, family members, or colleagues. She finds joy in learning about their stories and providing the support they need during their healthcare experiences. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, and exploring the culinary world—both through eating and cooking. Her love for food has taught her that every dish tells a story, much like the individuals that she has met along the way.

Jenny Young
Office Manager
Jennifer Young, is HCN’s Office Manager, and has been an integral part of Hearing Centers of Nevada since its inception. With a background in Business Management and over 8 years of experience working in geriatric health services, Jenny has played a key role in developing initiatives such as the mobile hearing care unit and quick reimbursement submission protocol. She is an expert in credentialing, and handles day to day office operations. Jennifer specializes in insurance billing, Veterans Affairs, and Department of Labor Claims. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She is an avid Golden Knights fan! Danielle Kolodziej
Front Office Administrator
With a stellar 8-year background in administrative roles, Danielle Kolodziej brings a wealth of expertise to our front office team. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, she has consistently ensured smooth operations in various administrative capacities. Beyond the professional realm, Danielle is a dedicated softball enthusiast who finds joy in the camaraderie of the game. Her commitment to excellence extends to her personal life, where she treasures quality time spent with her family.
